Day 1 - Wednesday - New Delhi

The memorable journey is going to start at the Delhi Safdarjung Railway station with the guests are welcomed in a traditional manner thereafter the Palace-on-Wheels pulls out into the night for a great long-week luxury journey pass through cultural and monumental Rajasthan.

Day2: Thursday, Arrival 3.45 Departure 11.30

The pink city Jaipur: Here you start your visiting with the Hawa Mahal the Palace of wind pursued by the unbelievable Jantar Mantar-Astronomical Observatory. The city palace which is now a museum of full royal architectures. This capital city also provides you an opportunity of shopping experience since the city is famous for its handicrafts. These handicrafts include also the cutting and polishing of Gems and stone to make different artistry. Visit Amber Fort, take a dressed up elephant for a ride up to the fort. Come back to train for dinner and night stay.

Day3: Friday, Swai Madhopur Arrival 5.30 Departure 10.30

Visit here Ranthambore Fort of which has its own significance in the Indian history. You can also go to see the three big lakes- Padam Talav, Malik Talav and Raj bag. Though a delicate eco system, Ranthambore is very rich in the terms of flora and fauna .It’s a natural habitat of the Tiger and many more animals too. It’s very often to get a chance to see the tigers face to face in an open environment, not only the tigers you have opportunity to see 24 different species of animals here like spotted deer, sambhar, wild boar, Indian Gazel, Jungal cat, Panthers, Jackal, Hynas Rarely sloth bears. Come back to the train.

Friday, Chittorgarh Arrival 4.00 Departure 2.00

Visit Chittorgarh Fort as it said about it that the largest fort of India spread over an area of 680 acres. It fills a thrill after looking the great boundary of this fort. You can see here the Mughal architectures at Rana Kumbha palace and Padamini Palace which is inside the fort.

Day4: Saturday, Udaipur Arrival 8.00 Departure 3.30

Welcome to the city Udaipur located at Lake Pichola which is surrounded by the great city palace. Appreciate the imposing scenery as you are at the city of Lake Udaipur. Have a look on the City Palace and Crystal Gallery. Post of a traditional lunch go through the soulful and vivid Old Market or see the Vintage car collection in a museum. Finally enjoy the fascinating Sound and Light show. Take a boat ride in Lake Pichola and back to train.

Day5: Sunday, Jaisalmer Arrival 9.15 Departure 11.45

Jaisalmer also known as the golden city of Rajasthan has a significance of its own on the map of Rajasthan; this city is founded by a ruler in 1156 AD. This city has a great link from history which you can see here by monuments. The Sonar Quila Fort, which draw your attention towards itself. The city has also so many heritage site like old mansions and havelis. You can visit here Patwon Ki Haveli and Nathmalgi Ke Haveli, Salim Singh Ji Ki Haveli etc. Take a camel ride and your camel will take you deep in the famous Thar Desert.

Day6: Monday, Jodhpur Arrival 7.00 Departure 3.30

Welcome to the former capital of the Marwar the city Jodhpur. Post lunch visit The Mehrangarh Fort which was built in 1459. The fort spreads over an area of 120 meters high rocky hill; this fort tells the story of history of Rajasthan by its architectures. Later on visit Umaid Bhawan Palace famously known as the largest palace in the world as it has 347 rooms inside it. Take your lunch at a 5 star hotel and come back to the train.

Day7: Tuesday, Bharatpur Arrival 5.00 Departure 8.45

Bharatpur, a small and famous city of Rajasthan situated at the countryside Uttar Pradesh. Visit fort of Lohargarh, or Iron Fort, has its own history that make it stands with pride. This is the only fort which has bastions of mud inside; this proves the artistry of history of Bharatpur. One more and the most attractive places here which draw the people here in Bharatpur is the Keoladeo Ghana National Park which is actually a bird sanctuary. Here you can see more than 300 species of birds Indians or migrated as well even you can fine Siberian cranes here.

Day 7 Tuesday Agra Arrival 10.30 Departure 11.00

Welcome to the love city and the old capital of Mughal Agra. A visit to the one out of seven wonders in the world The Taj Mahal a gift ever given by a love to his beloved, here you will get a breathtaking architecture inside on its walls. Also visit here the world heritage site Agra fort, made up of red stone. There are a collection of gardens here inside this fort. Come back to the train.
